DANK #11

dank11Dank 11 with a massive line up of local and national comedic talent. A Friday night of laughs in a relaxed and enjoy able atmosphere at the Fringe Bar!
This month features: Nik Bruce-Smith – Comedy – One of Wellingtons most talented up and comers, with a sell out season at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival under his belt. Nik always brings the laughs with his hilarious anecdotes, obsession with pop icons and observational New Zealand comedy. You can’t beat Nik Bruce Smith on a good day!

Gerard “Famous Local Comedian” Paapu – Has been conjuring up laughs on the local scene for a while now, his style is quirky like a guy in an office with some Newtown street smarts. His jokes are fun and his delivery flawless, come check him out in the show!

Anna Rzhevitskaya – Anya is wellingtons very own Russian import. Tales of her motherland and interpretations of her new found home, Anya is reeling off of an impressive run of shows at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. Her flavour of comedy is dark, witty and dry, she will make you laugh and consider a trip to Russia!

Joel Hansby – This Wellington native is incredible, his odd style of awkward humour and devastating one liners will leave you wanting more. Joel is definitely a comedian to watch with a bright, awkward future in front of him.

Adam Wright – More like Adam Wright now, Adam has stylised comedy bound for the television screens of the nation. He writes gold and delivers it like a pro. If you like him, invite him over for some macaroni and cheese (its his favourite)

Jerome Chandrahasen – Often regarded as ‘the Godfather’ of Wellington comedy, Jerome is a boss when it comes to making people laugh. Jeromes jokes are legendary, he closed off the night at dank 10 so well we got him back to MC Dank 11

Pax Assadi – we have brought Pax down especially for this show, one night only wellington appearance! Pax is regarded as one of the most exciting young acts in the country by his peers and audiences alike. Pax was nominated for the Billy T Award in 2013 with only 2 two years of comedy under his belt. He has gone on to appear on a number of local television shows Including TV One’s panel show Word Up, TV 3s 7 Days, Maori TVs Crack Up and a regular on the critically acclaimed Brown Eye. Now he performs all over Auckland and New Zealand leaving a trail of funnies everywhere he goes, like a magical genie of laughter.2013 Billy T Award Nominee
