A monthly showcase of some of New Zealand’s best up and coming comedy. Winner of the Wellington Comedy Awards Best Show in 2016. The show focuses on variety, creativity and originality, being host to some of New Zealand greatest young (and old) comedic minds.

This edition will focus on development and feature:

Janaye Henry as MC –

Janaye is a newcomer to comedy still in her rookie year this will be her first time MCing a comedy show. We believe in her and much respect for stepping up to the role! We can’t wait to see how she handles it – she’s clever, fun, witty and woke. She has a bright future ahead of her in comedy and theatre. Come show the maximum love on the night.

James Roque –

Part of Frickin Dangerous Bro, James is a great friend of ours, He headlined Dank in August 2016 and was so good we have invited him back.

Outside of the comedy world, James trained as an actor at Unitec in Auckland and is a co-founder of Pretty Asian Theatre, a company dedicated to bringing Asian inspired stories to the New Zealand stage. He has also worked with Indian Ink Theatre company touring with the hit show “Kiss the Fish”.
