Oh, lord have mercy on us all – It’s Naked Girls Reading: The Religion Edition.

Witches and vicars, seers and Satanists, nuns and non-believers alike, let us gather. And in the name of the Mother, the bum and the holy spirit (whiskey) – let us worship the written word, the well-crafted alcoholic beverage and, of course, the mighty female form.

Naked Girls Reading is exactly what is sounds like – completely naked women reading literature aloud. It’s a sexy book club, a sapphic slumber party, a sumptuous and scandalous event sure to arouse, educate and entertain all at once. Come along to experience the ancient and beautiful art of storytelling – and also, you know, boobs.

This month’s edition starring:

– Rachael Ann (CHCH) – beer bi*ch, dog mum, and giant nerd.
– Fanciforia Foxglove – vaudevillian vixen.
– Amy Oakes – The Nip-less Stripper.

And hosted by the adorable Hugo Grrrl.

These unclad, clever ladies have picked their favourite bits of iconic religious literature to recite for you. Expect excerpts of everything faithful and faithless – from Gaia to Buddha, from Sam Harris to the Song of Solomon, Witchcraft too. We’ll be sauntering through the literary landscape of all things holy and heretical in an evening. It’s a night not to be missed.
